ASAE Celebrates Power of Associations Tonight

September 26, 2022

ASAE is hosting a sold-out 23rd Annual Summit Awards Dinner tonight at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, to celebrate and promote the invaluable contributions that associations make to America and the world.

Six associations will be recognized this evening with a 2022 Summit Award, ASAE’s highest honor for the association community, including: The American Institute of Architects; BOMA Georgia; California Municipal Utilities Association; National Coalition of STD Directors; IEEE; and Urban Libraries Council.

The 2022 Summit Awards Dinner is co-chaired by Steven C. Anderson, FASAE, CAE, IOM, president and CEO, National Association of Chain Drug Stores, and immediate past chair of ASAE; Philip K. Bell, president, Steel Manufacturers Association; and Katherine Lugar, president and CEO, American Beverage Association.

This year’s dinner is the first since ASAE introduced a refreshed Power of Associations campaign to broaden and solidify awareness of associations’ purpose and impact. ASAE this year has also launched its Meeting Community Needs initiative, to work in concert with the host city for its Annual Meeting & Exposition to develop a customized approach to impacting positive change based on the needs of the local community.

Many thanks to the sponsors and supporters of this year’s Summit Awards Dinner. For more information about this year’s Summit Award-winning programs and The Power of Associations Awards, click here.
